The Perdana Botanical Garden

The Perdana Botanical Garden, formerly known as Taman Tasik Perdana or Lake Gardens, is situated in the Heritage Park of Kuala Lumpur. It has always been a part of the green lung of the city and has a history of over a decade. Originally created as part of a recreational park but planted with collections of tropical plants, the garden have been rehabilitated and turned into a Botanical Garden. The garden have not only botanical collections but also house features that give you the ambience of being in a tropical rainforest, despite being in the middle of a bustling metropolis.

Kuala Lumpur Crab Island Fishing Village

Depart Kuala Lumpur for Port Kland in an hours drive – Malaysia’s busiest port. The 30-minute ferry ride offers a panoramic view of the busy harbour and the mangrove swamps of nearby islands. The Island is a mangrove island surrounded by mud flat rate. There are four neighborhood fishing villages consisting of Ketam Island Township, Bagan Teo Chew, Sungai Lima and Sungai Dua. Most of them are fisherman and seafood restaurant operators. Enjoy your lunch at seafood restaurant. After lunch, catch the ferry for return trip o Port Klang. Drive up to view the fabulous palace of the Selangor Sultan. Visit the Sultan Salahuddin Mosque, also known as the Blue Mosque. Capped by one of the largest religious domes in the world, the mosque occupies about 36 acres of beautiful parkland surrounded by the Municipal Council Tower, State Library, State Museum and the Lake Gardens. Last stop at Thean Hou Temple before we conclude our tour for the day.

Kuala Lumpur i-City Tour

Kuala Lumpur Enchanting Fireflies

Away from the hustle and bustle of the city is Kuala Selangor, a small village known for its natural heritage of Mangrove forest. Putrajaya and Heritage Park

Named after Malaysia’s first Prime Minister, the late Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj, Putrajaya is the administrative centre of the nation, where the main governmental complexes are located. The principle landscape is the 600-hectre man-made lake, The Putrajaya Wetland. Native wetland plants from over 50 local species are propagated here. Architecturally, Putrajaya is an indigenous city with a modern look. Planned to the minutest detail, this intelligent garden city is devoted to lush greenery and water bodies with 13 different gardens and parks.

A Day In The Rainforest (FRIM)

Located 16 km north-west of Kuala Lumpur, the Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) promotes sustainable management and optimal use of forest resources in Malaysia. The journey to the tropical rainforest on the outskirts of the city will take approximately an hour. Along the way you pass through typical Malay villages. Our first stop is the aboriginal museum, among the displays are weapons used for hunting, clothing made from tree barks, traditional musical instruments etc. An introduction of the place and activities will be carried out immediately on arrival before proceeding with jungle trekking by identifying various fruit trees.

Garden City of Kuala Lumpur

A leisurely introduction to the city of Kuala Lumpur. The first stop will be at the Old Railway Station completed in 1910 to replace an older station on the same site, the station was Kuala Lumpur's railway hub in the city. The National Mosque has a capacity of 15,000 people and is situated among 13 acres (53,000 m2) of beautiful gardens which offers a good opportunity for some great photographs.
The next stop is the Independence Square where the nation celebrates its annual Independence Day with parades and performances. The Moorish architecture of the Sultan Abdul Samad building contrasts with the mock Tudor structure of the Selangor Club. The National Monument is a sculpture that commemorates the fallen heroes in Malaysia’s struggle for freedom, principally against the Japanese occupation during World War II and the Malayan Emergency which lasted from 1948 until 1960. Proceed to the KL Bird Park, located adjacent to the Lake Gardens and is the world’s largest free-flight walk-In aviary. Sprawling approximately 20.9 acres (8.46 ha) of verdant valley terrain. One of the park's most extraordinary features is that in Zone 1, 2 and 3, birds are let free in the aviary which closely resembles their natural habitat. The Bird Park houses more than 3,000 birds representing more than 200 species. Don’t miss the opportunity to feed the birds and catch the bird show (Bird Show is at 1230hrs and 1530hrs). Later, you will get the opportunity for a photo stop at the PETRONAS Twin Tower. The 88-storey PETRONAS Twin Towers, otherwise known as KLCC, is among the world's tallest twin structures. Stretching out to one side of this architectural masterpiece is the spacious and beautifully landscaped KLCC Park. Other attractions at KLCC are Suria Shopping Complex, Petronas Philharmonic Hall, Petrosains Science Centre, Petronas Art Gallery and Kuala

Kuala Lumpur After Dusk

Kuala Lumpur comes alive after sunset. In the evening, the city lights up while skyscrapers enhance the night scene living up to its name as “The Garden City of Lights”. A leisurely drive along the beautifully landscaped streets of Kuala Lumpur brings you through some interesting spots of the evening. Visit the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple where the Hindu deities are housed and Chinatown for some street shopping where you will be able to find a variety of souvenirs and value for money products.
